She is honest, straight forward and gets the job done. She is a real asset when you are buying a home. I wont hesitate to call her when I get ready to sell. After talking with her, she knew exactly what I was looking for. She pointed out the details of the house that were important to me. She got all the paperwork ready and sent very quickly and knew the latest, fastest way of sending it. She was there for me whenever I called. I couldn't have asked for a more diligent representative.
As a listing agent I feel Karen falls short! She has no problem letting you know how put out she is anytime she is asked to do something. She will build you and your listing up at the time of the listing, only to do her best to convince you to accept the first low-ball offer you receive. She doesn't feel it's her job to negotiate or advertise beyond the MLS. It became clear to me that she was much too busy working with buyers, to worry about trying to get my listings sold. I'm sure she is capable of selling underpriced, perfect homes simply by putting them into MLS, but then again, who wouldn't be. She actually quit on me and released the listing before it was up....very unprofessional.
We loved Karen. She found us the perfect house but not before she had to spend tons of time and effort trying to find it. She never stopped trying to make our dream come true. Thanks to her we now have the house of our dreams. She made us comfortable in the searches and knew what to look for in my specialized loan. She did things to help save us money. She went above and beyond to help us find my little doll house. I know I would not have found it without her because we were both looking for houses and she found many houses that I would have never been able to see on my own. If you are looking for someone that will follow up with you, work hard for YOU, give you many options, take her time with you, be open and honest, give you a comfortable experience as you find that home sweet home, then Karen is the one you need to see. She does all the work, so just sit back and enjoy the experience as you find that perfect house together.
I have never experienced a sale situation like this recent one. Karen was terrible, horrible, and unprofessional. I was very unhappy with her service.
I've sold a few of homes in my life before. They were always a win-win situation. However, in this matter, Karen went from representing me as the seller to representing the buyer against me.
Because I was relocating to another city, I believe, Karen felt as though I was a desperate seller. She did not want to negotiate for me to get the best deal possible. She just kept saying "you not going to get any more money and no one want to look at your house." It was frightening that I could not trust her anymore.
Karen was fixated on this one couple who was interested in my home. I truly believe that there was a conflict of interest in her handling of my sale. She must have been related to this pair. I had conversations with some potential clients. What they told me was Karen would not them into the negotiation process or she talked down my house.
To make this matter is more bizarre; Karen would not even communicate or call me about closing. I had to receive calls from the buyer’s lender or the closing company for info about this. Karen said that I would close on one Monday. I took a week of vacation for closing. I arrived on a Sunday but I could not get in touch or heard from Karen. On Thursday of that week, the closing company called and told me it would be the following Friday before closing. I ended up losing nearly $3k on changing a previously scheduled vacation for this matter. And Karen has yet to call me and apologized for any of these mishaps.
And, the list goes on. I’m totally unhappy!!! It could have gone better. Coldwell Banker can do better!!!
The Sellers comments regarding the sale of his home are obviously disheartening to me as he realtor. I always do my very best to assist the people I work with in having the very best experience possible. Unfortunately in this case there were issues that I had no control over and I was unable to comply with requests to do certain things that would violate our rules and regulations.
We purchaed a Duplex on 33rd. She was helpful just would of liked for her to be a little more attentive. She drpped the ball a couple of times and I just contacted the selling agent instead. She sent over wrong paper work and then had to pull it. Just a little messy. She means well though and is very sweet lady.
Karen worked hard to sell our house in a short amount of time. She was very active in the process, showed the house often and always looked for feedback from buyers. She has been a pleasure to work with!
After going through 2 other real estate companies, with absolutely no luck, Karen found us. Our lease agreement was up with another realtor. She has been such a blessing! Our house now has 2 offers pending. It continues to show at least 3 times a week. Karen is a wonderful person and really knows what she is doing. We would highly recommend her and her talents to anyone!
Karen is a great lady to work with and is very responsive. My house hasn't sold yet, but we've had plenty of showings. I expect it'll sell before too long.
