Selling a house at our price range in Tulsa is painful. Peter and his team professionally guide us to stage each room and helps us market our house. We listed our home with Peter Tamura on 9/21 and closed on 12/29, so it was a relatively quick sale - but it was wild ride and without Peter's expertise, it would not have happened. We got a questionable inspection from someone hired by our first potential buyer. It caused her to back out. Peter was able to get an objective 2nd opinion that was acceptable (honestly objective - this person did not know the results of the first) and we were able to move on. The 2nd buyer knew of both inspections and hired his own who also knew nothing of the first inspections and also gave an acceptable report. Without Peter's assistance of finding an objective inspector, that first flawed inspection might have caused us to lose so much value that we couldn't sell the house. Peter helped us navigate our way through a few small repairs that needed to be done and we were close to the finish line --- And THEN the house was vandalized the day before the appraisal was to be done and 2 weeks before our scheduled closing date. Again Peter helped us as we worked with the buyer and his agent in determining the best way to restore the property in a manner acceptable to the buyer and work with the appraiser in rescheduling in an effort to make our closing date. Although we did end up rescheduling the closing to 6 days after the original date, we got there very successfully and on good terms with both the buyer and the buyer's realtor. Peter gave us a good understanding of each part of the process, kept us informed and was easily accessible when we had a question. Thank you, Peter for helping us through that adventure!
Peter did a great job selling my house! He returned my calls and texts promptly, worked hard, held several open houses and made the final process go very smoothly!
Our home search was challenging from the very beginning due to the tight term and budget but Peter understood our needs and made all his efforts to help us to find a number of properties and and once we had chosen one, he did speed up the process so that it was completed within two weeks. That was possible also due to the professionalism of other entities Peter works with (e.g. The title company, inspectors, appraiser, etc).
For the selection of the house Peter supported us by providing his knowledge of the market and the area. He was much available and kept us updated through all the process.

I met Peter Tamura at an open house he was holding. I was not interested in that house, but when I left I felt he was someone I would be comfortable working with when I started my search in earnest. He made a follow up call to me just as I had decided to start looking for a new home. We looked at many houses, most not what I wanted. I made an offer on one house, but could not agree on the price. Peter was always helpful, friendly, and comfortable to be around. I have met many real estate people, and do not respond well to any type of pressure. We met Peter and Margaret at Re-max when we were first looking for a house. Peter is a Awesome person to become acquainted with. He is a people person who takes great care in his clients. We moved half way across the country to Tulsa, Oklahoma about four years ago. We talked to Peter on the phone before we moved to Tulsa and gave him ideas of what we were looking for in a home and he had listings ready to look at before we even made it to Tulsa. When we finally made to it to Tulsa, Peter took us to dinner and showed us around the first night to welcome us to town. We where very picky about what we wanted in a home and Peter took us house hunting for five months and never acted impatient or irritated that we had not decided on a home, but made notes of what we liked and disliked about certain properties. Peter was so considerate by packing a lunch cooler to bring snacks and drinks since our three year old son went with us every time. Peter finally helped us find a perfect neighborhood for our family and has since become not only a good friend, but part of our extended family.
My wife and I had a very interesting house hunt with Peter. Peter took us to at least 30-40 houses in a 2 month period of time. We had some interesting encounters to say the least. One of which was at a house in BA that we were going to put an offer on..... that is, until we were being shot at by a 13 year old sniper with a pellet gun, from a bedroom window, two houses down.
We had a good image of what we both wanted but couldn't agree that we had found it. We hah one specific house that we both agreed on that was already in closing for it's second time. Peter said there was about a 10% chance of us getting it. I asked him to stick with it and he did. As we were at our wits end and closing in on the end of our time frame, we took our family to visit this house one more time. That day the house was put back on the market and Peter sealed the deal for us.
I would reccomend Peter because he truly does what it takes to get his clients into the right home. he is persistant, educated, reliable, and very loyal to his client. He handled business at the negotiation table as well.
